SERVES 20
PREPARATION 15 minutes
COOKING TIME 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
DARK
395g can sweetened condensed milk
500g dark cooking chocolate, chopped
50g butter
LIGHT
395g can sweetened condensed milk
480g white chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon Cointreau or Grand Marnier
STEP 1
Place sweetened condensed milk, dark chocolate and butter in a small saucepan. Heat over a very low heat stirring constantly until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat immediately.
STEP 2
Place sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate and Cointreau in a separate small saucepan. Heat over a very low heat stirring constantly until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat immediately.
STEP 3
Line a 18cm x 28cm square pan with plastic wrap or freezer plastic. Place alternate spoonfuls of the chocolate mixtures into the pan. Gently tap the pan to smooth the surface. Using a skewer gently swirl the chocolates together to give a marbled effect.
STEP 4
Chill to set. Cut fudge into squares with a knife or shapes with small cutters.
TIP
Fudge can be made up to 10 days in advance.
Store in a sealed container in the fridge.
Take care not to over heat the condensed milk as it will ‘cook’ the chocolate and make it seize up.
