This low fat version of a "cheesy macaroni" is sure to please the fussiest eaters!
| 2 cups macaroni or short pasta, cooked 1 tablespoon cornflour ½ cup skim milk 310g can Edgell Creamed Corn 1 cup chopped fresh snow peas 6 cherry tomatoes, halved ½ cup reduced fat cheddar cheese |
In a small saucepan blend the cornflour with 2 tablespoons of milk until dissolved. Add remaining milk and stir over a medium heat until thickened. Stir in Edgell Creamed Corn.
Drain pasta, add corn mixture, snow peas and tomatoes, stirring well; season with pepper. Spoon mixture into a 1 litre ovenproof dish and sprinkle with cheese.
Place under a preheated grill until cheese has melted. Serve with meat, chicken or fish.
Add ½ cup cooked Birds Eye Garden Peas as a substitute for snow peas.
