| 250g tub light cream cheese 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed 400g can Edgell Chick Peas, well drained 425g can Edgell Sliced Beetroot, well drained ½ cup fresh mint leaves 2 teaspoons cumin 2 tablespoons lemon juice Pita bread, carrot and celery for serving |
Place all ingredients except pita bread into a food processor. Blend until smooth.
Spoon onto a serving dish. Serve with warm pita bread and sticks of carrot and celery for dipping.
This hummus can also be used as a spread on burgers or souvlaki wraps.
