Lemon Butter Beans

Serve the beans as part of an antipasto platter.....

ingredients

500g packet frozen Birds Eye Baby Beans
50g butter
Juice and rind of one lemon
¼ cup roasted almonds, roughly chopped

instructions

step 1

Cook frozen Birds Eye Baby Beans following packet directions.

step 2

Drain the beans and return to saucepan, add the butter, juice and rind of lemon and roasted almonds to the hot beans and toss.

step 3

Arrange a small pile of beans on an antipasto plate and serve.

Substitute the roasted almonds for macadamia or pinenuts.
