Penne Puttanesca

Spicy pasta sauce full of flavour to tingle the taste buds!

ingredients

500g packet Penne pasta
1 teaspoon oil
2 spring onions, chopped
3 slices lean bacon, cut into thin strips
350g jar Leggo's Stir Through Pasta Sauce - Tomato, Olive & Chilli
10 Kalamata olives, halved
½ x 45g can John West Anchovy Fillets in Olive Oil, chopped

instructions

step 1

Cook pasta according to packet directions. Meanwhile make sauce.

step 2

Heat oil in large frying pan, add spring onions and bacon and cook for 1-2 minutes. Pour in Leggo's Stir Through Pasta Sauce.

step 3

Drain cooked pasta and return to saucepan. Stir through the sauce and heat through. Serve garnished with Kalamata olives and John West Anchovy Fillets.

For an extra hot kick, add ½ cup hot salami strips.
