Very Special Fried Rice

A delicious special fried rice complete with chicken and prawns.

ingredients

2 teaspoons oil
250g chicken thigh fillets, chopped
3 rashers bacon, sliced
8 green prawns, shelled and de-veined
500g packet frozen Birds Eye Stir Fry - Special Fried Rice
¼ cup water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 spring onions, chopped
¼ cup chopped peanuts

instructions

step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick wok or large frying pan, add chicken and bacon and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add prawns and cook for a further 2 minutes.

step 2

Stir in frozen Birds Eye Stir Fry, water and soy sauce; cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

step 3

Serve fried rice garnished with spring onions and peanuts.

For Thai style fried rice, omit soy sauce add fish sauce and fresh coriander.
