Beer Battered Fish ‘n’ Chips with Balsamic Cream

ingredients

500g packet frozen I&J Crispy Battered Fish in Beer Batter
750g frozen Birds Eye Golden Crunch Monster Chips in Beer Batter
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon cream

instructions

step 1

Cook frozen I&J Crispy Battered Fish and required quantity of Birds Eye Golden Crunch Monster Chips following both packet directions.

step 2

Place vinegar and sugar in a small saucepan, boil uncovered for 5 minutes to reduce by half, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in cream.

step 3

Serve cooked fish with a trail of balsamic cream and a bowl of monster chips.

Add cracked black pepper to the vinegar before boiling to add a more spicy flavour.
