Hash Brown BLT's

Birds Eye Hash Browns are topped with bacon lettuce and tomato for a great breakfast treat.

ingredients

375g packet frozen Birds Eye Hash Browns
6 slices lean middle bacon, chopped
12 vine ripened tomatoes
Sea salt
6-8 curly lettuce leaves
Cracked black pepper

instructions

step 1

Place frozen Birds Eye Hash Browns and bacon onto a greased oven tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for 15 minutes.

step 2

Arrange vine tomatoes onto a second oven tray lined with baking paper and sprinkle well with sea salt, place in oven with hash browns for the last 5 minutes of cooking time.

step 3

Top hash browns with lettuce leaves, bacon and roasted vine tomatoes. Dust with freshly ground black pepper and serve immediately.

  • For a more kid friendly version, omit salt & cracked black pepper and replace vine tomatoes with sliced tomatoes.

  • Slices of avocado can be added to either version.
