| 125g butter, softened 1 cup crunchy peanut butter 1¾ cups dark brown sugar 1 egg 1 cup self-raising flour ½ cup plain flour 250g packet chocolate dots |
Using an electric mixer, cream butter, peanut butter and dark brown sugar until creamy. Add egg and beat well.
Sift self-raising and plain flours together and stir into peanut butter mixture. Add chocolate dots and mix well. Roll into balls using approximately 1½ tablespoons of the mixture for each biscuit. Place onto baking paper lined oven trays allowing room for spreading; flatten slightly and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 15 minutes.
When cooked, cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container. Delicious served with coffee for when friends pop around.
Add ½ cup of roasted peanuts in step 2 for a real peanut boost.
