ingredients

180g butter
2 cups caster sugar
4 eggs, lightly beaten
¾ cup cocoa
¾ cup plain flour
250g packet white chocolate dots

instructions

step 1

Place butter and caster sugar into a saucepan and stir over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes until thick and syrupy Set aside to cool

step 2

Stir beaten eggs into cooled butter mixture. Sift cocoa and plain flour together and add to pan mixing well. Stir through the chocolate dots and pour into a baking paper lined 18 x 28cm shallow slice pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 50-55 minutes. When cooked, cool in pan.

step 3

Cut brownie into 16 squares and store in an airtight container in refrigerator. To give as a gift; place brownies into a decorative box and tie with a ribbon.
