This is beautiful. My Nana use to cook us a lovely sweet curry and this is the nearest I have come to finding the taste, and I am 72 years young. Thank you.

ingredients

1 tablespoon oil
750g diced casserole steak
1 cup frozen Birds Eye Chopped Onions
1 apple, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon plain flour
3 teaspoons curry powder
1 banana, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon sultanas
1 cup beef stock
2 tablespoons Leggo's Tomato Paste

instructions

step 1

Heat oil in a large saucepan, add steak and cook until evenly browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

step 2

Add frozen Birds Eye Chopped Onions and apple to pan and cook for 2-3 minutes or until softened. Stir in plain flour and curry powder and cook for 1 minute.

step 3

Return meat to pan, stir in banana, sultanas, beef stock and Leggo's Tomato Paste. Cover and cook for 1 hour or until tender, stirring occasionally.

Serve with pappadams, cucumber ribbons and yogurt.
