Gnocchi Bolognese

A different way of serving gnocchi with the sauce on the bottom.

to have it more of a traditional style use a bolignaise sauce with or wiht out mice. Do not use mozerela chesse. mix gnochi and bolognaise mix together on bowl and sprinkle parmasen on top.

500g lean beef mince
575g jar Leggo's Pasta Sauce - Bolognese
500g packet fresh gnocchi
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

instructions

step 1

Spray a saucepan with oil and heat, add beef mince and cook for 3-4 minutes or until browned. Stir in Leggo's Pasta Sauce and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

step 2

Cook gnocchi in boiling water for 1-2 minutes or until gnocchi floats to the surface. Drain.

step 3

Place Bolognese sauce into a greased ovenproof dish. Top with cooked gnocchi and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Place under a preheated grill for 2-3 minutes or until golden.

  • Divide the recipe into 4 individual dishes.

  • Sprinkle with extra 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese cooking.

  • Can be prepared in advance and heated in oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
