Spicy Chick Pea Nibbles

Perfect to serve with drinks as a party starter.

ingredients

1 tablespoon oil
400g can Edgell Chick Peas, well drained
2-3 teaspoons dukkah or Moroccan spice

instructions

step 1

Heat oil in a large frying pan, add drained Edgell Chick Peas and cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden. Add dukkah or Moroccan spice and stir well.

step 2

Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot or cold as party nibbles.

As an alternative to frying, Spicy Chick Peas can be placed into an ovenproof dish and cooked in a preheated oven at 200?C for 15 minutes.

Dukkah is a combination of spices, nuts and seeds and is available in the spice area or specialty section at supermarkets.
