Cream butter and caster sugar with an electric mixer. Add egg yolk and beat well. Add milk, sifted self-raising flour and ground hazelnuts to the bowl and mix on a low speed until just combined.
Using clean dry beaters, beat egg-white until stiff; lightly fold egg-white and blueberries through the cake mixture.
Spoon mixture into greased mini muffin pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes. When cooked, allow to stand for 5 minutes in pan before turning out onto a wire rack to cool.
This mixture if fine left standing whilst waiting for each batch of delights to cook.
