Step 1
Line a 27cm x 18cm baking dish with baking paper. Overlap sheets of pastry and line base and sides of pan, trimming excess pastry if desired.
Step 2
Add bacon and Birds Eye Chopped Onions to a hot frypan and sauté until bacon is cooked and onions are softened. Allow to cool. Spoon mixture into prepared pastry case.
Step 3
Gently break 6 eggs onto onion mixture, top with parsley, cheese and season to taste.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 190ºC for 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
Tip
Egg and bacon pie is a perfect meal idea served with a tossed salad.
