Melt a small quantity of cooking chocolate following directions on the packet. You will need approximately 6-8 squares. When melted, spoon into a piping bag (see how to make piping bags in this section). Make a fruit puree using fresh or frozen berries and add one teaspoon of the same flavoured jam. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve and pour into a piping bag. Carefully pipe the puree into the chocolate zigzag as shown.Step 1
Pipe a zigzag decoration directly onto serving plates and allow chocolate to set at room temperature.
Step 2
Place a portion of cake onto the serving plate and serve with a bowl of fresh cream.
