Hokkien noodles are thick, round and yellow. They are available fresh in the refrigerator section of your supermarket. Made from wheat flour, egg and water they are traditionally used in Chinese cooking in dishes such as soups, stir-fries and salads. Remove noodles from packet and separate. Place noodles into a heat-proof bowl. Cover noodles with boiling water from kettle. Stir gently and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Drain and serve. Serve with your favourite Asian dish.
