How to make a small piping bag

Step 1

Tear off a sheet of baking paper 30cm long and cut it in half diagonally.



Step 2

Take the top corner and roll over to form a cone shape as pictured.



Step 3

Holding cone shape with fingers and thumb, lift paper and take the other corner wrapping around to form a complete cone.



Step 4

Fold flap of paper into cone.



Step 5

Fold down top of cone at seam approximately 5 mm deep to secure the seam.



Step 6

Spoon filling into piping bag.



Step 7 - How to use a small piping bag

Flatten top of paper cone and fold in both sides as pictured.



Step 8

Fold down top twice to seal piping bag.



Step 9

Snip off tip with scissors to allow filling to flow. Remember to only snip a small amount of paper off, check 'flow' then snip higher if needed.



Step 10

Apply pressure gently at the top of the bag whilst keeping the tip several millimetres away from the decorating surface.
