Oregano

Oregano is a herb popular since Ancient times in Greece and other Mediterranean countries and one of the most common culinary herbs today. Oregano is best identified in popular foods such as pizza, pasta dishes and adds character to any tomato dish.

Oregano is widely used in a dried form in Italian, Greek and Mexican cooking. It is also known as the "pizza herb." Fresh oregano retains its flavour so it can be added to dishes that require long slow cooking.
