The leaves of Lemon Thyme are softer and rounder than common garden thyme and have a delicate lemon "note" overlaying the typical thyme flavour. It is a popular culinary herb for poultry and salads. It can also be used to flavour jellies, ice cream, sorbet and in poaching syrup for fruit.
