Birds Eye Chillies

This is a Thai variety of chilli and even though they are very small they are very hot and fiery. The white tissue that connects the seeds to the red flesh is where the “real heat” is in the chilli, so to reduce the intensity this and the seeds can be removed. It is best to wear protective gloves when chopping chillies as the “heat” can penetrate the skin that can leave a burning sensation for some time after.
