Laksa paste is a wet curry paste used to make the traditional Malaysian soup dish of Curry Laksa. It is a combination of shrimp paste, lemongrass, garlic, shallots, coriander, turmeric and chilli. Laksa paste can also be used as a marinade for meats or as a stir-fry flavour base. It can be found in the Asian section of the supermarket or Asian grocers.
